: party newz
1/11/01
Sorry once again for being so slack on updating our info. But just when we think things couldn't get any worse, we got hit with a virus on our computer and that f*cked us all up. So we will be unable to upload any new pics for a lil' while.

Let's start off with the New Year's Eve Party @ Connections. Not only did we have over 800 people but it was none stop mayhem from 10pm until 6am. One of the baddest throwdowns we have had, mainly because the time we teamed up with JOFFE PRODUCTIONS, one of the best promoters in Charlotte.

MIKE B. defitnitely was the party rocker of this night, playing at 100% all night long. If you have yet to see this man perform, you need to check him out. He is one of the greats. The Live Wire Family was well represented by Hydraulic with his 3 turntable set, he blew the roof off with his impeckable mixing, and his under the leg scratch. But what else would you expect from one of the best DJ's on the east coast. The rest of the night was well represented by a long list of some of the top dj's in charlotte. Kenny Breaks, Tober, Jus Chris (Xquizit records), & Fuzz (Vinyl Overdose records) were just a few of the names that showed up to help the LW family out that night and did one hell of a job keeping the crowd hyped.

However, Connections felt it was necessary NOT TO PAY us at our fair share at the end of the night. So we think Connections can go KISS OUR MOTHER FUCKIN ASS, ESPECIALLY RANDY HENSEN, THE OWNER WHO IS A CHEAP, DIRTY, NO GOOD WEASEL WHO COULDN'T TELL HIS HEAD FROM HIS ASSHOLE.

Okay, deep breath...and we're back. In upcoming party news, JANUARY 26, 2002 the baddest ISLAND OF FUNK brings you, SHARAZ, DOC ROC, VISCOUS VIC, HYDRAULIC, 31 FLAVAZ, & KONTROL&KIDD STAR. This is a show you do not want to miss. So come one, come all...this time there will be no police blockade like last time...and security won't be giving body cavity searches every 5 minutes. You can't afford to miss this breakbeat extravaganza @ IBIZA, starting at 9pm.

In gossip news, there may be some truth to the rumor that Mike B. may be moving to Charlotte, to join forces with Live Wire Entertainment... so be on the look out for that addition to the family. Also, there are some cats out in LA (that's Louisiana, not Los Angelos) that we have been talking to that are doing there thing out in LA, and may possibly do a few remixes for us...maybe you have heard of them, Dj Moon, Dj Johnny Cage, & Dj Trashy... that's right the Pumpin Records crew, the baddest dmc style dj's around. We had the opportunity to talk with them on the phone, and those are some cool ass mother fuckers. Nothing but the upmost respect for these crackers. They are the upcoming, and we look forward to working with them in the future!!

Also, it was such a good pleasure working with JOFFE and his company JOFFE PRODUCTIONS, that we may be teaming up once again to do a once a month show at TIME LOUNGE here in Charlotte. So be on the lookout for that little shindig, which if it goes well Mike B. will be in attendance every month.
